“Wholly God”: What we can learn from the Celtic way with God, A Mini-Retreat

In the early middle ages, the British Isles became a haven of religious life in which spiritual formation became the lifeblood of the community and the central aspect of every arena of life. There is much we can learn from the practices of the Celts who saw the sacred in the everyday.
At this mini-retreat, we will dip our toes in the worldview in which the richness of the Celtic way with God was formed, and experience how their lives can teach us about our lives with God.
We will learn about:
Rhythms of God in your daily life
Cycles, circles, and companionship
Thresholds and thin spaces
In the beautiful setting of St. Mary’s Peace and Spirituality Center, we will find rest and peace in this mini-retreat. Mini-Retreat includes: teaching and practical tools for your formation practice, including take-home materials. Access to grounds and labyrinth at St. Mary’s. Coffee, tea, and snacks.
